Meeting of GPK Team

On February 10, 2005, the ?GPK Team? ? Team for Campaigns and Publication - was established. It consists of Rachmat aka Boss as coordinator; Harry aka Ucup as vice coordinator; Beni Jusuf aka BJ as coordinator for media; Nirwana aka Librarian Girl as coordinator for campaigns; and Prita  aka Newsmom as coordinator for News.

The GPK Team developed its annual targets, namely:
(1) developing an annual plan of 1001Buku campaign activities;
(2) developing regular information on 1001Buku activities;
(3) disseminating information on 1001Buku to the media and institutions within the 1001Buku network;
(4) maintaining partnerships with individuals and institutions engaged in the 1001Buku network;
(5) establishing new partnerships;
(6) strengthening relationships among volunteers by improving volunteers? participation in 1001Buku activities;
(7) developing a database of GPK;
(8) developing SOP for GPK activities.

The GPK Team also developed a broad schedule of annual activities:
a. April ? May : launch a program of 1001Buku for Aceh and book collection through BDB.
b. June : participate in the ?Jakarta Book Fair?.
c. July : celebrate the ?National Children?s Day?.
d. August : celebrate Indonesia?s ?Independence Day?.
e. September : celebrate the ?International Children?s Day? and participate at the ?Indonesian Book Fair?.
