Meeting of Financial Team

On 19 February 2005, a financial team meeting was held. The meeting involved some volunteers who are interested in financial affairs. They were Martin, Arum, Ade, Fine, Dwi and Unie.
The results of the meeting and the continuing discussion in our mailing list were:
1. The financial condition of 1001buku will be updated monthly and be published on our website. This task is the responsibility of the treasurer.
2. Any activities that require money in advance must be by approval of the 1001buku Coordinator and use the Cash Advance form which is been provided in Yahoogroups.
3. Any expenses claim can be submitted to the treasurer only with approval from the 1001buku Coordinator and must use the Expense Voucher form which is provided in Yahoogroups.
The team will further consider the need for developing a system for cash donations. It is unavoidable that 1001buku will require financial support to conduct its day-to-day activities. The team is preparing threshold guidelines for receiving cash, and its accountability in order to avoid inappropriate use of that money.
